API Reference

Overview

The mobile development community at University of Virginia now has access to grounds data. We are always trying to gather new sources of data and provide gateways for that data. We have gotten access to some information and are in the process of getting more information. The list of possible information include:

Library: Documentation coming soon!

Facilities: Find energy usage for buildings on grounds. Information includes energy, water, heating, and more. Data is updated hourly.

Transit: Access information related to University Transit Services. Available information includes transit routes, current positions of UTS vehicles, bus stops, and more.

Schedule: Find information about related to all undergraduate and graduate classes taught on grounds. Information includes instructor(s), days held, time, room, and more. Data is updated hourly.

API Usage and Examples

In the menu bar on the left of this page, there are dropdowns for each available category of the API Reference (facilities, buildings, etc). By mousing over a category, the list of possible endpoints, or calls, will appear. Selecting any endpoint will load a deatiled description of the call and offer examples of how to utilize it!
